  • Close QuickBooks.
  • Download the latest version (1.5.0.0) of the QuickBooks Tool Hub. Save the file somewhere where you can easily find it (such as your Downloads folder or your Windows desktop).
  • If you have installed Tool Hub before, you can find out which version you have. Select the Home tab.Open the file you downloaded (QuickBooksToolHub.exe).
  • Follow the steps on the screen to install and accept the terms and conditions.
  • When the installation is complete, double-click the icon on the Windows desktop to open the Tool Hub.

Then follow these steps to run Quick Fix my File.

 

From the Tool Center, select Company File Issues.
Touch Quick Repair My File.
When you’re done, select OK and start your QuickBooks.
